The dictionary defines the word “illuminate” as above.

And it is with this very goal that we intend to establish a new technical club – THE ILLUMINATI.

OUR VISION

According to our collective vision, we want to make the club ‘new’ in all senses of the word.

Our principal aim is to learn more and more and act as enablers for other people who are keen to do the same.

AREA OF WORK

Our area of interest is in the domain of computer applications in both day to day activities as well as in the technical realm.

RELEVANCE

As is well known, computers and associated technologies have applications in all economically vibrant spheres.

In the present age, computing technology has touched every aspect of our lives- even more so for us engineers and aspiring engineers.

It is important to clarify here that that ILLUMINATI will cater not just to the students of the CS or IT departments, but to the entire student body.

We will strive to cover all topics of interest pertaining to computer technology cutting across all branch lines, in activities both co-curricular and extra-curricular in nature.

ACHIEVEMENTS

In the previous semester, we, under the name of C.H.A.O.S organised a workshop on Computer Game Modding.

Inspite of being held just before the third sessionals, the turnout and the interest level of the participation certainly matched our expectations.

GAMING and GAME DEVELOPMENT

We have displayed our commitment to our ideas of newness and uniqueness by organising this workshop, on practically uncharted territory.

Gaming, and Game Development, especially the latter, are fields that  we know - require rigorous technical know-how, apart from interest, dedication, and passion.

WE BELIEVE GAMING IS AS MAINSTREAM AS ANY OTHER SPORT.
